If so, I would encourage you to forward them this list of Summer Research Opportunities compiled by Dr. Michael Cutlip at the University of Connecticut. Heck…you might just want to forward it to all of the ChE students in your department!

ChE students please note that with the exception of the sophomores and seniors (3rd & 4th years) completion of 400 hours of chemical engineering related industrial work experience is a prerequisite for graduation registration!! So don't be caught into the trap affecting so many ME's and EE's, this year with them scrambling to get their hours at the last minute in order to be able to graduate. Some just wont make it!! To be forewarned is to be forearmed!!
